Contemporary British fashion designer whose emphasis on immaculate bespoke tailoring and sharp, streetwise style has gained his west end boutique a substantial celebrity clientele for his bespoke menswear and womenswear.
Mark Powell is appearing with this debut feature show to herald his introduction of the first top quality bespoke tailoring service on the Island.
Mark’s ibiza launch collection is inspired by the 1920s and 1930s, by classic sartorial style, pop and street culture and also includes some narrow silhouettes from the 1960’s. It is made up of one, two and three button lounge, cocktail and formal suits with single and double breasted waistcoats and includes details such as panel backs, flared cuffs and shawl collars. Highlights include a 3 button Modernist two piece suit inspired by 1960’s Ivy League, a three button double breasted 60’s Dandy summer jacket and a two button Safari style jacket with half belt and pleated pockets. Fabrics include pastel, plain, striped and checked linens, vibrant seersuckers, silk and wool mixes and classic lightweight wools.
